The main statue of St George is carried triumphantly from its niche and placed on its pedestal in church.  The last Mass of the day will be at 6.00pm in the Parish Centre.

At 7.00pm: March by the La Stella Band from in front of the Good Shepherd church in the Taċ-Ċawla neighbourhood of Victoria to St George’s Square.

At 8.00pm: The main statue is placed on its pedestal. Sculpted in wood by Pietru Pawl Azzopardi in 1839, it is the first titular statue in Gozo. A special collection for the feast is held.

At 9.00pm: A celebration of Christian values by youth devotees of St George in the Basilica, organized by Grupp 23four, characterized by prayer, reflection and song led by Deacon Franklin Micallef.

At 9.30pm: March by the Santa Marija Band of Żebbuġ from Republic Street to St George’s Square.

At 10.00pm: Triumphal march by the Santa Marija Band with the statue of St George sculpted by Austin Camilleri in 1991. The march starts in St George’s Square and ends in St Francis Square.
