The programme of events for this year’s Lenten Season (22 February – 9 April) 2023 at St George’s Basilica has been published. This includes the liturgical celebrations of faith during this period, mainly the Paschal Triduum leading to Easter, on which falls the traditional procession on Maundy Thursday (6 April) and the demonstration of the Risen Christ on Easter Sunday. The programme is in Maltese.
St George’s Parish is offering a variety of opportunities to the community to live this special liturgical time by listening and celebrating the Word of God.
