What a great start for festa week this year!
Yesterday was a very special day for our parish community: novel priest Fr Samuel Aquilina celebrated at the basilica his First Solemn High Mass of Thanksgiving, some fifty days after his priestly ordination at the Gozo Cathedral.
After 15 years, now St George’s parish has a new priest, and yesterday’s jubilation was truly appropriate.
What a wonderful grace!
