The Good Friday celebrations came to a conclusion on Friday, at around 10.00pm, when the last participants in the procession, the young chevaliers of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows, were back in the church to their waiting relatives and friends.
The fine weather contributed in no small measure to another success story, if such a spiritual event may be described in such terms. But the merit goes to the organizers and their meticulous attention to detail. And, of course, to the people who attended so massively in both the church and on the square of St George’s.
