An index of all the deaths registered in the registers of our parish has just been completed. The index covers the period 1615-2018 and includes the registration of 22,423 deaths.
The index took five years (off and on) to be compiled, and it would have taken many more years were it not for the input of many individuals, who are too many to mention here. But it would only be fair to acknowledge the contribution of the Sixth Form students of the Gozo College who painstakingly input the data from the registers into the database.
Besides this index, our parish also has an index of marriages from 1626 to 2014 and an index of baptisms from 1892 to 2014.
The next step is to compile an index of baptisms from 1792 to 1891. It is envisaged that these indices will be put online on our website.
