Today at 11.00am, Fr Peter Paul Cachia osa celebrated a Thanksgiving Mass at St George’s Basilica on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of his priestly ordination.
Archpriest Mgr Joseph Curmi thanked Fr Peter, who is an Agostinian friar from our parish, for his helping hand during the year in our community, where he leads the weekly Lectio Divina group and is a confessor on Sundays.
As a token of gratitude on behalf of the whole parish community, at the end of mass he presented him with a white chasuble carrying the image of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu on this special Marian Year.
