St George’s Novena – the nine days of spiritual preparation for our Patron Saint’s titular feastday – is halfway through, with moments of formation and catechesis for the whole parish community.

Nine paintings have been chosen from the wide range of pictorial art representing St George in so many countries around the globe, to help us reflect on different aspects of the saint’s life.

The 7pm Mass led by Archpriest Joseph Curmi is followed by activities for children at St George’s Square, including a scavenger hunt on Sunday, a train ride on Monday, and more games, fun and food.

Different categories are being invited for the Novena mass. As from the first day, all families have been given a small picture album to which a sticker is added daily representing the painting considered on that particular day.
