The 21st edition of the Victoria International Arts Festival will come to an end today.
The closing choral/orchestral concert of the Festival, by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will see the Maltese Violinist, Carmine Lauri, leader of the London Symphony Orchestra, that will perform Glazunov’s Violin Concerto with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the director of Philip Walsh.
Apart from these works, this concert will also include other works as Mozart Symphony no. 41 in C Major K551 (Jupiter) and Joseph Vella’ symphonic poem Rebbieħa op 45.
The closing concert of the Festival is taking place at St George’s Basilica, Victoria, starting at 8.00pm.
