This morning, a Thanksgiving mass for the gift of the ministerial priesthood of Father Joseph Hili, newly ordained priest will be held at St George’s Basilica. Although Father Joseph is from the Parish of Xagħra, he is very dear to our parish community, where as a seminarian between 2015 and 2016 carried out pastoral work among various groups. Fr. Joseph Hili was ordained priest in on 15 June of this year at the Gozo Cathedral. There will be also the participation of the Laudate Pueri Choir under the director of Can. George J. Frendo.
We must not only show our gratitude to Lord for priests he sent in our parish, but are obliged to pray to Lord for more vocations.
