It is with great pleasure to announce that the tender for the restoration of façade, dome, belfries and flanks of St George’s Basilica has been published. The issuing of such tender is the result of various months of work done by a team of persons which included architects, draughtsman, technical people on the drafting and finalisation of tenders and persons from the parish office.
The tender documents can be accessed from this link and interested bidders are to submit their sealed tenders by 7 September 2018 at 10.30am. Tenders are to be deposited in the tender box at St George’s Parish Office, Triq il-Karita’ Victoria Gozo. Further information may be obtained by e-mail on [email protected].
We would like also to thank the Ministry for Gozo and Eco Gozo Directorate which has supported the restoration project through a grant. In the coming weeks, this portal will brief all readers with updates regarding all the corresponding works.
