Today is the First Day of the Novena in preparation of the feast of our Patron St George. The Novena is a series of nine days of spiritual preparation that lead up to the feast week, especially aimed at all the children and families of the parish. This year the Mass is presided by Archpriest Mgr. Joseph Curmi and the motto of this year is San Ġorġ iż-Żagħżugħ ta’ dejjem.
During the days of the Novena there will also be a campaign for generosity. The Novena goes on till Sunday 8th July, where after the celebration a party will be organised for all children.
