VICTORIA INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL
The Victoria International Arts Festival 2008, which starts June 8, features artists from the Maltese islands as well as from the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Austria, Norway, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Russia. The venues of the concerts are St George's basilica and its annexes as well as Pjazza San Gorg and Independence Square. The performances start at 20.00 and they are free of charge. More information about the programme can be acquired from Dr Maria Frendo and the helpdesk at the St George's Parish Office.

All concerts, which are free of charge, start at 8pm, except the one on 27 June, which starts at 8.30pm. A donation of 50 euro entitles the donor to a reserved seat for all the concerts. Master Classes will be held in the following disciplines: Pianoforte (Advanced and Lower Grades), Violin, Clarinet, Oboe, Flute, and Horn by local and foreign tutors.
