I want to wish all Gorgjani il-festi it-tajba ma'tul dil-gimgha.Also congratulations to the 4 priests that are celebrating their silver and golden anniversaries. Saw some pictures of the illumination ceremony, awesome! I can only imagine what it looks like when being there. Well done! Program tal-festa sounds good, I look foreward to follow thru the radio,and website. Iddevertu,VIVA SAN GORG!!!

Congratulations to Can. De Brincart.
I followed with great interest the celebration at St. George's Basilica on the Internet, for Fr. George's 50 years of Priestly Ordination.
We also had a Mass of thanksgiving here in California - acyually we had two celebrations. One at Holy Redeemer were Fr. George recides when he is in Southern California. A second Mass at Our Lady Of Lurdes Parish where Fr. George was Pastor for many years.
Earlier in April Fr. George was honored with other jubilarians by Cardinal Roger Mahony at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles.
Again CONCRATULATIONS Fr. George.
I was happy to visit and be part of your celebration electronically.I very much enjoyed the beauty of this church wen I visited Gozo.

What a delightful web site. I remember visiting Victoria in 2001 and found it one of the most beautiful parts of Malta. I didn't enter St George's basilica and now I realise my mistake when looking at your pictures and details of the life in your parish. May God continue to bless you and your ministry.

today st.george preca is the light we have long been waiting for, it is from now that in malta people will again experience who christ really is. like st. paul this has been a great sign for us all to prepare the way for the new europe - as this is what our lady wants that the european union will be under her protection - let us rejoice and thank god for this great sign of light - it is only through jesus in the eurocharist that we can really feel the light and joy in our lives. may st, george preca give his special blessing on all our maltese families.
