I met some tourists on the Gozo ferry on my way home after the festa. They told me how impressed they were with the celebrations of the past week. The beauty of the Basilica, the joy, the jubilation and the smiles wreathing all the faces - but most of all the astounding greeting of the processional statue on its exit from the church. So gratifying to hear people who are non-partisan give such praise, such glowing comments. It makes me feel so proud to be a member of such a community and so happy that our image is so positive vis-a-vis visitors from abroad. Well done!

Just back to Malta from our trip to beautiful Gozo for the biggest feast of our islands. It was a great feast filled with activities, love and warmth towards our Patron Saint. Prosit Arcipriet and all those involved.
